When Adam meets Juliet, it is not just the story of two young people with a taste for forbidden fruit. It is at the same time two of world literature’s greatest dramas – The Old Testament and Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet – which are shaken into an explosive, juicy, socially satirical cocktail. And yes, it all takes place here in Paradis, but Adam is from Jutland and Julie is from Tingbjerg. Clear division lines are drawn. The band’s name is “Lawyers from Hell” and it doesn’t give up when “hygge” Denmark gets a well-deserved spanking in a crazy theater concert! 8 of Batida’s musical actors shake it all up. Put on your dancing shoes, because no one can sit still when Paradise is sent to Hell.
